Term 1 Reflection

When school started I found out that is was going to be in Room 10 instead of Room 9 so I was really happy because I had been in that class too long. Then one week later I went to school and they said that there was going to be a water fun day. At water fun day it was fun as because there were a lot of activities involving water. The first activity was fun because we had to carry half of a milk carton filled with water underneath the cheer without spilling any. Then tip it into the bin. Because the house with the most water in there bin wins.

In term one we went to the MADD messenger program and learnt about different thing each time we go there. Only year seven and eight were allowed to come to the program. One time we had to go into groups like the Tongan,Samoan group,Cook Island group and some other groups. My group had Dora,Moses,Touala,Hemi,Me,Levi,Fraser and Brandon. Moses came up with an idea to do a samoan dance called Manu Samoa. After we and everybody did their thing this guy petia drew a picture of Captain America to show that everyone has something special inside of them.

Later on we did this other program called Kiwi Can where we did the same thing but a bit different. At kiwi can we talked about Corporation,Friendships and Working together. Each time we go there we have a new topic and they ask us what was last week topic then we tell them then we move to the new topic for this week. At the end they give us points based on our behavior. At the end of the program they see which class in the senior’s has the most points so they can get an award. Like a pizza an a movie like Glenn Taylor.

We also went to butterfly creek in term 1 to learn about Dinosaurs. Because dinosaurs is our topic this term. There we meet a lady called Salita. She showed us around the first place she showed us to was the dinosaurs kingdom where we went into this room. Where we meet this other man called Paul. Paul asked us and told us about dinosaurs.
